Boycott GM
Dear reader!
I am a former CEO who has worked in different industries in a general manager position during the last 25 years.
I am starting this blogg since I realized that GM has started the procedure of liquidating SAAB despite of the fact that they do have four or five bids for the company and that at least three of these bids are serious.
What GM does if they decide to liquidate SAAB instead of selling it is that they kill a loved and well known brand. But what is worse is that they take the possibility of having a decent job for thousands and thousands of people. In Sweden, but also in many other parts of the world.
My suggestion is therefore that all of us who have our morals and ethics intact should Boycott GM and GM products all over the world.
Let´s decide not to buy any GM car until GM sells SAAB to one of the groups interested in saving and restoring the company.
I suggest that we do not buy or rent or use any GM car until GM takes responsibility for all the people who will otherwise loose their jobs. But also for all the people who loves SAAB and who wants the company to survive because it is not a main stream company with main stream products, or at least it wasn´t until GM bought it.
